Daxian X999 Review - Features And Performance On This Iphone Clone With Wifi, Gps And Windows Mobile

I can't tell you how many times I've heard a new iPhone clone referred to as the "latest and greatest." And in some cases this is a true statement. However, we all know that technology is changing. What seems so cutting edge today will likely be dated in a couple of months. That's what's so great about the clones. When you purchase one, you're pretty sure there will one day be another. But you also know that once you switch over, you can do so guilt free because you didn't pay very much in the first place.

Well, the Daxian X999 (aka HiPhone T32, or CECT T32) IS currently the latest and greatest. Clone lovers have been waiting forever for an unlocked, loaded phone which also offers the trinity of GPS, WiFi, and Windows Mobile, all in the same phone.

We've come close before as the HiTune has Windows Mobile. We hoped the CECT N95 (clone of Nokia N95) would give us the features but it didn't, as it lacked WiFi and GPS. But, now we finally have all three in one product.

Here's a quick review on the Daxian X999 which got everyone excited:

Features: Although the three new features have been added, the other popular mainstays are still here. This phone still enjoys the ability to: surf the web, email, and text via WAP browsing, and MMS / SMS messaging; take photos and video on the digital camera and video cam; enjoy Bluetooth; listen to and watch MP3s and MP4s;

and download Java software.

PowerPoint, Word and Excel come pre loaded and countless more downloads are available.

Appearance: Appearance wise, this phone looks most like the HiPhone i32 except that it is a bit smaller and thinner. But, it has the black casing in the front and the flat silver back without any logos on the phone.

Functioning And Quality: I was somewhat afraid that the new additions would slow or bog down this phone. They haven't. It's just as speedy as the HiPhone and also as high performing. It still has the great speakers that blow the mainstream manufacturers away. I've not found any problems with mine other than not being able to pull myself away from all the games I've downloaded and get to work.

Pricing: The Daxian is probably one of the most expensive clones on the market, at just under $300, but it is also the clone with the most bells and whistles all housed in one tiny phone. Since the wait was so long and the features are so needed, the price has not been a factor for most.
